The Long quarantine experince #no 1

 Talks of the virus were increasing with each day and becoming more vivid and scary to the point were school was made to close early granted that wasn't really saying much considering the fact that there was only week of school left  but still felt it was worth mentioning. 

Anyways with school closed it seemed I would finally have a holiday as long as the ones American children get to enjoy you know the 104 day summer vacation Phineas and Ferb sing about at the start of every episode. 

Well this didn't turn out to be the case you see I am of Zimbabwean so I grew up facing Zimbabwean problems such as power cuts,being broke inflation and all the good stuff that comes with living in Zimbabwe. 

Of course it goes without mention that during this quarantine vacation I would not be travelling far and wide not just because of the facts that I was broke,there was crippling inflation or that I didn't even have a passport at the time but because the virus made travelling unsafe for people on earth regardless of race,nationality and age.Yes I said and age because despite what Donald Trump said about children being virtually immune the virus still infected children. 

So you must be wondering at this point in time what I did on my first day of quarantine well I went home from school by bus off course since my dad was finishing things of at school,my dad is a teacher by the way hence why he had stuff to finish of at school. 

"You went home by bus while Covid 19 was spreading rapidly!!!",your probably saying in shock and yes I know how dangerous travelling by bus during a pandemic can be but please understand that African countries particularly Zimbabwe got the virus a bit later than other Asian and European countries partially due to the hot African country but mostly due to Economic and Political turbulence making tourism low in Zimbabwe as a result the amount of infected tourist entering Zimbabwe was much lower than the amount of infected tourist entering other countries such as South Africa and Germany. 

So when I got home I did the tipicle stuff you would expect a teen to do in such circumstances I checked the Instagram trending section which was as to be expected filled with Corona virus memes and videos.You may be wondering why I didn't start quarantine vacation with a more meaningful acticity like watching Netflix but that wasn't an option at the time. 

You see in Zimbabwe the internet is slow and ridiculously overpriced heres an example list.The price list is in Zimbabwean dollars by the way which is not as valuable as the American dollar, but still even when paying in US it is still overpriced.
